 In this position, the Cashier performs cash handling duties related to the daily operation of the cafeteria.
  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Cash Register Operation/Cash Control
  • Operates the cash register, ringing up sales and making change.
  • Counts cash at the end of the shift and completes all cash related paper work
  Food Service Support
  • Puts out appropriate signage and maintains condiment and silverware/tray area. 
  • Completes order sheets to maintain appropriate par levels.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of other cafeteria position; relieves other shifts/positions as necessary.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position
