Cooperates with other personnel and stakeholders to achieve organizational mission and strategic objectives and maintains positive relations throughout the facility.

Maintains established hospital and departmental policies and procedures; participates in quality assessment and improvement processes, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Delivers a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients; answers patient questions, and explains procedure.

Performs a variety of management/leadership activities under the self governance structure.

Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings and staff meetings.

National registry for Radiation Therapy and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)

Working Environment :

Works in a well lit, heated and ventilated area. Position requires considerable mobility throughout the facilities. Potential exposure to routine, communicable diseases through regular contact with associates and the public at large.
