Interventional Technologist IV will, in collaboration with the team lead, practice and promote The Best in the Nation Service Behaviors, Strategies and Priorities. 
  • Responsible for the operation of Angiographic equipment. 
  • Perform vascular/interventional radiography procedures resulting in quality patient care and radiographic images necessary for diagnosis of disease and/or treatment. 
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
  • Receive patients, explains method of examination, and positions patient, performs IV puncture, and administers IV contrast agent when indicated.
  • Independently performs and completes routine examinations Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary team through effective communication, coordination and documentation ensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency. 
  • Actively participates in quality initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care and workflow efficiencies.
  • Must be registered in ARRT( R)(CV/VI)
  • Knowledge of vascular anatomy and skill in recognition of normal and abnormal variants. Thorough knowledge of radiation safety.
  • Valid ARRT (R)(CV/VI) registration required
  • SCL Health approved Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
  • CT Registry is Preferred
  • 1 year Vascular/interventional imaging experience preferred
  • On-call rotation required - one week per month
