The Compliance Manager serves at the direction of the Sr. Director of Program Development/Ambulatory Compliance and is responsible for planning and coordinating activities within the department to develop training, write policies, investigate compliance issues and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.


This role requires an individual with a strong healthcare compliance background (preferably with ambulatory coding and billing knowledge) and who can collaborate with care site compliance and privacy officers and appropriately escalate issues to Compliance leadership.


  1. Conducts periodic internal reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.

  2. Conducts or directs internal investigations.

  3. Identifies compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.

  4. Prepares and disseminates policies and procedures related to compliance activities

  5. Oversees the compliance hotline.

  6. Serves as a confidential point of contact for associates to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities.

  7. Collaborates with human resources departments to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action strategies in cases of compliance standard violations.



This part time position is located in Broomfield, CO.


Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience in a compliance role of increasing responsibility, performing tasks similar to those outlined in this specification.


Experience working in a demanding and dynamic business environment with access to highly confidential and proprietary information.

Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to health care operations.


Advanced skills in the areas of investigations, reporting and oversight of system wide initiatives.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and demonstrated ability to use other relevant software applications to present data, information and analysis in a clear, compelling and professional manner.



Experience working in a complex organization (e.g. multiple locations and business units); working with not-for-profit and faith-based institutions.


Coding and/or billing education for professional-fee services
