Apply Now

If you are looking for a medical center that cares for you throughout your entire medical and surgical treatment program, you have come to the right place. We are offering a Perioperative Nurse Internship which will afford you the opportunity to train into the Operating Room. The program begins in April and is a 6-month training program with a 2-year commitment following the completion of the training.

At Good Samaritan Medical Center, we care for our patients from diagnosis to complete recovery. We have a comprehensive team of board certified surgeons who have provide patients with the best surgical care available. We currently have 14 OR rooms including all modalities of OR including the Davinci robot surgical procedures in addition to the new technology for brain stimulation.

Surgery is performed with your comfort in mind. Parents, family members, friends and significant others will have a surgery waiting area in which wait and will join you as soon as possible after your surgery is completed.

You.

You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as a OR Nurse.

You're generous with your compassion, your empathy and especially your voice, because your opinion matters.

You're equally comfortable with patients, families, colleagues, mentors and technology.

You know how to move fast. You know how to stay organized. You know how to have fun.

You're great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.

Us.

Good Samaritan Medical Center is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. At our 234-bed community hospital, our mission is to bring health and hope to the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other. We're especially proud of our people, who helped make us one of America's 100 Best Hospitals according to Healthgrades.

Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, we've launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools, retirement planning and even educational scholarships for the next generation.

We.

Together we'll align mission and careers, values and workplace. We'll honor each other's dignity and surpass the standards we set. We'll encourage joy, demand safety and take pride in our integrity.

We'll laugh at each other's jokes (even the bad ones). We'll hello and high five. We'll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing.

We're proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn. And instead of placing blame we'll learn and grow together.

That's what we're capable of together. Is this the "we" where you belong?
