The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing close working relationships with non-hospital based and independent physicians, and their office staff. Their focus is on facility-specific service lines that are in alignment with the market strategy, with the goal of expanding access to SCL Health's services. This will be accomplished through improved service to physicians, reducing barriers to the patient care continuum, setting up meetings with SCL providers and educating the physician community at large as to access and expertise available throughout SCL Health. The Physician Liaison is a high energy, passionate, well organized, detail oriented and responsive representative of SCL Health and its care sites reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Network Loyalty with dual reporting to care site executives.



Knowledge of emerging healthcare trends to be able to inform and execute growth strategy

Proven track record of business development and increased sales in the healthcare industry

Establishes, maintains and enhances relationships with key stakeholders

Executes strategic plan priorities with regard to growth and physician service improvement initiatives

Interprets current physician referral patterns, trends, and financial margins, ensuring that sales resources are optimized

Develops sales and retention strategies for target markets and facility service lines

Conducts pre and post call planning maintaining and utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to effectively manage territory

Manages related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the budget

In addition to frequent direct contact with physicians and their practice or medical staff, routine interface is expected with multiple medical center departments. The goal of this is to improve continuity of patient care, reduce barriers to access and enhance communication among physicians, SCL Health and affiliate care sites

Meet or exceed targeted volume threshold for targeted accounts on a consistent basis

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred OR

Associates degree with >5 years healthcare field sales experience



Experience: 3+ year's territory management field sales experience, specifically in the medical industry.

Sales experience in a multi-site healthcare organization strongly preferred
