Job Summary: 

Consults with key management on a variety of complex human resource initiatives such as: employee relations, strategic planning, compensation and benefits, training, and recruitment.  Participates in the design, evaluation, and implementation of human resource programs; e.g. compensation and benefits, EEO/AA, performance management, human capital planning, organizational structure, recruitment strategy and job design in order to meet specific business needs.  Is responsible for assessing organizational need and designing and deploying various leadership and organizational development programs, tools and processes that facilitate improved organizational performance. Works with leaders at all levels to identify training opportunities to develop and deploy solutions. Procures expert classroom or other facilitation and coaching from within or outside of the organization as needed. Performs talent assessment, identifies areas of opportunity and consults with leaders for improved performance. Facilitates succession management, development plans and reporting. This role oversees the site-based OD Specialists.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.   Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years comprehensive Human Resources experience, as well as continuous training related to Human Resource issues
  • 2 years working in Human Resources in a hospital or clinical delivery environment. 
  • Professional certification in one or more Human Resources functions
  • Direct experience in leading curriculum design, delivery, and adult learning principles.
  • Proficient in a Windows applications, intermediate level skills using Microsoft products including graphics, Excel (including  macros), and Word
