Job Summary:

This position plans, organizes and directs the operation of the Food Service Department. This employee works to assure that all applicable guidelines are followed in providing quality nutritional services on a daily basis, and a department that is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required
  • Two years of supervisory experience in food service, required
  • Knowledge of infection control, safety and other applicable regulatory guidelines, required
  • Good management, interpersonal, supervisory and communication skills, required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Two years of experience in food service in a health care facility, preferred
  • Completion of a formal training program for Food Service Management, preferred
  • Formal training in culinary arts, preferred
