Performs EEG testing for in-patients and outpatients.  Notifies the neurologist when study is complete.  Manages documentation and storage of the studies, both electronically and on DVDs. Other duties as assigned.


-Perform EEG studies as ordered

-Prepare studies for MD. to read on reading station/portal

-Prepare discs to archive studies; send to storage

-High school diploma required

-6 months experience preferred

 

Licensure/Certification:

-Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification- required

-ABRET registration preferred
