Utilized standardized recipes to prepare food assuring quality and customer satisfaction and the compliance with special dietary needs to customers.
Utilizes food and supplies in the most cost effective manner, including donations.
Cleans assigned areas and assists with dish washing and stocking duties as needed.
Informs supervisor of any equipment and/or production problems and needs.
Assists with record keeping of temperature logs, inventory, shopping lists, etc.
Operates various equipment such as mixers, choppers, ovens, etc., in a safe manner.
Reviews menu�s and provides suggestions for new recipe items and/or improved systems of operation.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Assists volunteers as needed with lifting and/or needs arising from delivery and/or meal site operations.
Safely operate motor vehicle and comply with driver requirements as defined in SCL Health System�s Driver Safety Policy.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Greater than 1 year related experience
License / Certification / Registration Food Handlers Certification
Current, valid, class appropriate driver�s license
Working Environment: Works in a well lit, heated and ventilated area. Position requires considerable mobility throughout the facilities. Potential exposure to routine, communicable diseases through regular contact with associates and the public at large.
