  • Supports the Director in translating care site supply chain goals into actionable priorities and assures communication and measurement for achievement of same.  This will include both supply and other non-labor expense initiatives.
  • Responsible for the cost-effective operations of the supply chain functions in the designated distribution locations(s) and supporting off site clinics as needed.
  • Specifically accountable for all distribution receiving, logistics and inventory management and other duties as assigned.  Assures smooth functioning of operations at all hours through appropriate delegation, development and adherence to strict standards of work. 
  • Continually identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities striving to create best practices as well as assuring the adoption of identified best practices elsewhere in our supply chain community.
  • Supports leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures concerning inventory management practices, as well as equipment procurement.
  • Develops and executes cross training plan to enable all personnel to successfully conduct all roles within the Supply Chain Supervisor’s scope of responsibility.
  • Keeps close working relationship with care site and system supply chain operations on contract conversions, operational improvement opportunities, and data analysis coordination.
  • Leads Lean system and standard work development; implements in areas of responsibilities.
  • Leads Problem Solving activities within area of responsibilities and in partnership with our internal customer needs.  Establishes processes to collect, analyze, and act on data to improve performance of group.



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, natural science or medical-related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.



  • 3 - 5 years in a customer service related roll preferable in a healthcare supply chain environment.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience acting as a lead or in a supervisory type position.
  • Knowledge of MMIS, preferably Lawson or other related inventory system.

  • Provides exceptional customer service through all daily interactions with both external and internal departmental contacts.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and take direction from multiple parties.  Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility for them.
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP system supply chain module.  Experience in understanding hand usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access, and ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • Ability to assimilate large amounts of data to identify key trends or opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and train others.
  • Verbal communication, writing and reading English, must be able to interpret verbal and written information and instructions, ability to express self clearly to provide information to others. 
  • Conduct self with a high degree of professionalism and exhibit a positive attitude at all times.
  • Using proper body mechanics while carrying, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 400 pounds on wheels without assistance.
