Responsible for providing quality rehabilitative occupational therapy under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist to patients, involving musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary deficiencies and to promote excellent customer service while adhering to state and federal standards.

  • Successful completion of a college program for Certification Occupational Therapy Assistants that leads to an Associate Degree and that has been approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain rapport with the patient and family
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • One year experience in hospital or home health care required
